The Intel Core i7-4770S processor has a clock speed of 3.1 GHz, 3.9 GHz in 'Turbo' mode, and features four processor cores with Hyperthreading technology. This makes the processor incredibly fast when needed, and in Windows, you have not four, but eight 'threads' over which the tasks are distributed.

That the Asus M70ADNL001S is not a basic home PC is also evident from the graphical power that the PC has at its disposal. The PC is equipped with an NVidia GeForce GTX 650 graphics card with 1GB of video memory. Although this is not one of the newest graphics cards, the card has more than enough power. If you use a PC for video or photo editing, you can utilize the 768 available 'CUDA cores' in the graphics card to speed up your work. The M70AD-NL001S does not lack connections. At the back, you will find among others an HDMI, DVI, VGA, and Gigabit Ethernet LAN port (1000Mbps). To connect your necessary devices, you have two USB 3.0, six USB 2.0, one PS/2, and the necessary 3.5 mm audio in and out ports at your disposal.

If you are looking for a desktop that can easily run heavier programs or work with video and photo editing software, the M70AD-NL001S is a good choice. Those looking for a PC for daily tasks might want to skip the M70ADNL001S, but we can certainly recommend the PC for the enthusiastic user. Also, due to its stylishly designed case, the PC looks great in any space.

In short

  • Plenty of computing power
  • Enough storage space
  • Nice design
