ASUS ExpertBook B5 (B5404 / B5604): make business more efficient with AI

To meet modern ways of working and respond to additional needs, ASUS has developed the ExpertBook B5. This AI-enhanced laptop is available in both a 14-inch and a 16-inch variant and uses the latest Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 processor, including three AI engines to boost the next generation of business features and benefit from AI-supported security. For professionals who need extra power, there are options with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card, a dual SSD configuration, and 64 GB dual SO-DIMM DDR5 RAM. All this comes together in an ultra-lightweight, fully metal casing that weighs just 1.29 kilograms (14-inch variant).

The lightest 14-inch business laptop in the world

The ExpertBook lineup is complemented by the previously announced ExpertBook B9 (B9400CBA): the lightest 14-inch business laptop in the world. This model, weighing only 990 grams, is now also available through the ASUS eShop and is designed for business professionals who need sustainability, stylish design, and serious specifications. Think of up to a 13th generation Intel® Core™ i7 vPro processor and no less than 64 GB of blazing fast and efficient LPDDR5x memory. Moreover, this is the first model that falls under the ASUS Carbon Partner Services program.

The first Chromebook Plus with Intel® Core™ Ultra

Additionally, ASUS announced its very first Chromebook Plus that utilizes the AI capabilities of Intel's latest Ultra Core™ processor: the ASUS ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus. To ensure smooth offline and online (collaborative) work, this Chromebook features up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB storage, and WiFi 6E. The display is a 14-inch WQXGA NanoEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, an 89% screen-to-body ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. More information about the specs and features can be found in the full press release that is attached.

ASUS ExpertCenter D5/D7/D9 Series Mini PCs

ASUS also unveiled the ExpertCenter D7 SFF (D700SER) and the ASUS ExpertCenter D9 Mini Tower (D901MDR). These Mini PCs are ultra-compact machines with a volume of 8.6 liters and 15.9 liters, respectively. Beneath the ingenious design and compact dimensions lies a lot of power, such as the latest Intel® 14th generation Raptor Lake Refresh S-series processors and a full-size NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics card. In addition to the fact that the Mini PCs are very powerful, they feature ASUS Tool-Free Design with smart positioning of components and neat cable management, increasing efficiency and expanding upgrade options. This is something that the IT department also appreciates, as it experiences fewer issues.

ASUS Triple 4K Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock: The 12-in-1 solution for creators

The ASUS Triple 4K Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock is a 12-in-1 solution that provides workplaces with many different possibilities in one go, as all peripherals can be connected with just one cable. The ASUS Triple 4K Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock includes multiple HDMI 2.1 ports and supports various high-resolution displays, such as an 8K monitor at 60Hz, two 4K monitors at 120Hz, or even three 4K monitors at 60Hz. Additionally, expect data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps and dual SD card support. The dock also features 2.5 Gbps Ethernet and up to 100W Smart Charging to quickly charge devices. The casing is made of high-quality aluminum and can easily be attached to a desk or the back of a monitor.

Sustainable results

Another major topic addressed during the presentation was sustainability. ASUS is intensively committed to making its operations more sustainable and reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to zero. Some concrete examples of ASUS' sustainable initiatives: the company actively uses recycled materials in its production processes and packaging. Since 2017, more than 1600 tons of PCR have been used, and in 2022 alone, ASUS utilized over 20,000 tons of recycled paper. Since 2019, ASUS has recycled no less than 40,000 tons of e-waste. This commitment has been globally recognized, including by The Financial Times. The business magazine has recognized ASUS as a Climate Leader in Asia-Pacific and ASUS is also included in the Corporate Knights Clean 200 Index. Additionally, all products within ASUS's business lineup are labeled with an independent EPEAT label.
