With an impressive career spanning from lawyer and member of parliament to data scientist and associate professor, Esther brings a unique combination of legal, technical, and strategic expertise to Conclusion. She has specialized in developing solutions that not only meet legal requirements but also take into account the societal impact of AI. In her new role, she aims to focus on promoting AI literacy within organizations, ensuring that all employees gain insight into the responsible use of AI and that a cultural shift is achieved through strategic advice.

Increasing awareness of AI literacy

Esther will contribute to the development of tailored e-learning programs that help organizations comply with Article 4 of the EU AI Act. These programs focus on raising awareness and improving AI literacy and are customized for each organization. In addition to her work for Conclusion AI 360, she remains active in academia as an associate professor at Javeriana University in Colombia, where she teaches AI governance and responsible AI. She also continues her role as an AI expert at UNESCO, where she aims to promote progress in non-discriminatory algorithms and advocates for the participation of underrepresented groups in AI.
