State of Kubernetes Security report
The State of Kubernetes Security for 2023 from Red Hat is an annual report on security risks in cloud-native development and the security measures organizations are taking against them. The report is based on global research among 600 DevOps, engineering, and security professionals from around the world. The key findings of this year:
- 67% of respondents have delayed the adoption of cloud-native technology due to security concerns.
- Investments in security are not balanced with investments in cloud adoption: 38% of respondents indicate that insufficient investment is being made in the security of containerized environments, which is 7% more than in 2022.
- More than half of the respondents faced security issues in the software supply chain of their cloud-native and container technologies over the past year.
