It concerns keyboards in the 12" MacBook from 2015 and MacBook Pro's from 2016.
Tweakers writes that this is because the keys are 40 percent thinner than other keyboards. It goes wrong when a piece of dust gets stuck under a key, causing the key to no longer spring back. In practice, you then see that the letter repeats infinitely on your screen.
The site is based on the video below from iFixit, which does not mince words in burning Apple's design to the ground.
How Apple completely messed up the keyboard of its MacBook.

After the glue problems with the screen, I want to add.
I don't think new MacBooks will last another seven years. https://t.co/OjuIpd5bse
The iFixit video has already been viewed thousands of times in a short period:
Apple in the dust
Apple has already gone through the dust and has offered users to replace the keyboard, under certain conditions. You can find here an overview of which models are involved. The company comes to this drastic measure due to a lawsuit from two users whose keyboard did not work and Apple wanted to dismiss their complaints with an expensive repair.
iFixit says in the video that this is not enough.
Cruusade against failing MacBook

In short, that last point is also the message of the website The Outline. The site has started a real crusade against the company. Until Apple installs a different keyboard, the company's advice is short and clear: do not buy a MacBook.
