Research by Cognizant and Oxford Economics shows that 76 percent of companies are looking for ways to leverage AI for new revenue streams. However, they face challenges in implementing and scaling AI applications at the organizational level. Additionally, 70 percent of companies feel they are not making progress quickly enough.

Multi-agent driven tools
The upgrade of Cognizant Neuro AI includes various new features, including the Opportunity Finder. This is a multi-agent driven tool to identify use cases. There are also new large language model (LLM) assistants that together form a powerful AI decision-making engine. Customers first get to know the Neuro AI platform through the Opportunity Finder, which helps in finding potential AI applications for their business.

With the Model Orchestrator, users can easily clean data and apply different machine learning models by dragging and dropping. Data cleaning is faster thanks to the LLMs, and then machine learning models are used to make predictions. Evolving AI models assist in decision-making. Once the models are trained, they can be accessed via a web interface or an LLM assistant.

The improvements to Cognizant Neuro AI help companies address the challenges of implementing and scaling AI applications within the organization. With the platform, users can determine within minutes which problems they want to tackle. They can then map these problems and import synthetic or anonymized data to develop AI models for them. Additionally, Neuro AI can make predictions, provide support in achieving business outcomes, and evaluate the impact of different practical cases.

Cognizant AI Research Lab
The enhanced Neuro AI platform is suitable for a wide range of sectors and various business issues, such as inventory management, dynamic pricing, fraud prevention, and efficient workforce planning. The improvements stem from research projects at the Cognizant AI Research Lab, which was established earlier this year. This lab focuses on the research and development of decision-making AI systems. These improvements are the first research project that has been integrated into a commercial application.

"Companies often struggle to effectively leverage AI for their business challenges, leading many AI applications to be limited to predictions or a few LLM chat solutions," said Babak Hodjat, Chief Technology Officer of AI at Cognizant. "Multi-agent AI systems address these challenges, and that is why this system is also the foundation of Neuro AI. This platform enables companies to leverage their specific knowledge and test and set up decision-oriented AI applications in just a few minutes. They can then use the model code that results from this to develop further at scale."
