New integration allows customers to automate the majority of their cloud operations

Gartner expects that "worldwide spending on AI will total nearly $1.5 trillion in 2025." As organizations continue to accelerate their AI investments, gaining end-to-end visibility across the entire digital ecosystem and automating business operations becomes increasingly important. With Dynatrace's agentic integration in the Azure portal, customers can achieve these goals with greater confidence.

The integration combines Dynatrace's AI-driven root cause analysis with deeper insights from Azure SRE. This allows teams to resolve complex issues in large-scale IT environments more quickly and efficiently. The integration also streamlines recovery processes, including recovery hints, to resolve incidents faster and reduce downtime. This enables teams to focus on innovation and drive business growth.

The key benefits of the integration are:

  • Smarter detection and recovery: in-depth contextual observability from Dynatrace is correlated with telemetry from Azure to improve problem identification and resolution in complex environments.
  • Automated business operations: routine runbook actions and diagnostic workflows are automated, reducing mean time to repair and allowing teams to focus on innovation.
  • Proactive reliability: continuous analysis of real-time and historical data uncovers key indicators of failures, enabling teams to prevent incidents before they impact customers.

"The AI capabilities that Dynatrace and Microsoft jointly offer bring our customers one step closer to achieving autonomous business operations in their complex environments," says Scott Hunter, VP, Product Management of Core AI & Engineering at Microsoft. "With continuous, automated real-time insights and analytics, teams have more time for innovation."

"Organizations today must operate in increasingly complex cloud environments, where disparate systems and a lack of visibility can hinder innovation," says Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace. "Customers need more than just alerts – they need AI that takes action. This integration strengthens Dynatrace's vision of agentic AI, providing smart, automated observability within the Microsoft ecosystem and helping organizations not only identify issues but also resolve them automatically and at scale."

Dynatrace and FreedomPay will jointly present their vision for generative and agentic AI during Microsoft Ignite (November 18-21, 2025). Visit us at booth 5438 for a demo, participate in the Dynatrace Quest, meet experts, and discover how Dynatrace can help you achieve seamless observability.
