Proxsys: 25 years of ICT with a human-centered approach

As a Managed Services Provider (MSP) and Internet Service Provider (ISP), Proxsys has been supporting organizations since 2001 with, among other things, the outsourcing of complete IT management and support. This includes Workspaces, Public & Private Cloud, Microsoft 365 environments, and mission-critical connectivity. Proxsys combines strong technical expertise with a human-centered approach. This makes Proxsys a logical and valuable addition to Previder.

Arno Witvliet, CEO of Odin Group: 'With this acquisition, we are taking the next step in building Previder with a team that knows the region in West Netherlands and is close to customers. This allows us to better support organizations in West Netherlands with their digital continuity and growth, with personal service as the starting point.'

Continuity for customers and employees

The daily management of Proxsys has gradually transitioned over the past years from founders Erik Loef and Olaf van Oord to Eef Gorter, CEO of Proxsys, and the management team. With the transition to Odin Group, this transfer has been formally completed. The team of over one hundred employees continues to work from Gorinchem and Rotterdam. Customers retain their trusted contacts and services, and additionally benefit from the scale, expertise, and impact of Previder.

Eef Gorter, CEO of Proxsys: 'We believe that good IT starts with people and being close when needed. Joining Previder gives us the scale and impact to grow further, while our way of working and regional involvement remain intact. This way we can continue to support our customers with reliable and future-proof IT.'

Olaf van Oord, Martin Klop, and Erik Loef, founders and former shareholders of Proxsys: 'We have built Proxsys together into a company we are proud of. With Previder as the new owner, we know that our customers and employees are in good hands. The scale and ambition of Odin Group provide Proxsys with the best foundation to grow further. We look to the future with confidence.'
