The use of Atos's BullSequana Edge servers enables Verizon to enhance its 5G edge capabilities. This opens the door to a variety of new use cases and allows for improvements in network security, connectivity, and data management.
Real-time analysis
The joint solution will focus on large-scale, cloud- and AI-based data analytics to help companies operate more efficiently. In one of the use cases, the platform will analyze 180 billion data points every hour. Using this system, engineers and operators will be able to precisely determine where and when business downtime will occur up to 30 days in advance. Furthermore, key statistics and trends will lead to operational efficiency and eliminate points of failure over time. These insights can come from a localized part of the system and can be applied in a global landscape.
