As Head of Practices & Growth, Maxime will bring the various areas of expertise within Fujitsu (including ServiceNow, Microsoft, Data & AI) more prominently to the attention of companies to inspire customers with technology and strengthen Fujitsu's position as a reliable brand name.

As COO, Maxime already had regular contact with several large clients of Fujitsu in the Benelux. Now he has the opportunity to use that knowledge and experience to expand the trust relationship with those companies and engage with new clients.

Investing in partnerships

Fujitsu works with various knowledge groups with consultants specialized in a technology stack. Maxime oversees those consultancy departments as Head of Practices & Growth and is responsible for the growth of these departments. Significant investments will be made in partnerships with key players such as ServiceNow and Microsoft. Together with these partners, Fujitsu aims to develop a strong plan to attract the market.

During the fiscal year 2026, Fujitsu will hire new employees to supplement the current team, which consists of about 400 consultants across the Benelux, with fresh knowledge and skills. Building such a strong and complementary team will be crucial to prepare the company for changes driven by AI.

Increasing Fujitsu's recognizability

Maxime Cools has been working for Fujitsu since 2019. He started his career at the company as Head of Recruitment and was instrumental in the founding of the IT recruitment agency CHRLY. Over three years ago, he advanced to the role of COO, a position he will continue to hold now.

Maxime views the success story of CHRLY as a reference to stimulate the growth of other departments. His main objective is to increase the recognizability of Fujitsu as a brand in the Benelux and ensure that employees radiate pride in identifying with the company.

Maxime started his new role as Head of Practices & Growth at the beginning of January 2026.
